What possibilities do we offer you?

A total of nine folder gluers in various configurations offer a wide skala of possible sizes and applications.

Sizes

The sizes which can be handled by our machines:

Blanks from 60 x 80 mm to 1200 x 1720 mm

• Bodypaper substances from 120 to 1100 grams/qm

• Paer, foil and also corrugated up to 6 mm

Handling

All our folder gluer have been equipped with glue applicators. The gluing areas are determined before and the gluing is done fully automatically. More than one glue line can be effected and these can have interruptions. The actual generation folder gluers offer extremely high speeds. By means of a preceding 24 hour test we checq the correct sticking quality. The codereader prevents the undesired mixing of different runs and the glue line monitor controls whether the preadjusted quantity of glue is applied. Thanks to the inspecting units it is prevented that glue is applied to areas which must absolutely remain free from glue particles.

Directives

Below some general directives. They are meant to help us to deliver the products to be glued perfectly.

Width of glue lap:

• folding cartons according to the ECMA-norm: min. 10 mm

• folding cartons (corrugated or cardboard) according to the FEFCO-norm min. 15 mm

The foregoing norms have codes you can mention when you ask for a quotation. We are gladly of assistence to you. In the printing area we leave out the glue flap and the bottom parts eventually to be glued. Some dipersionlackers do not require leaving out cartain areas, whereby this is sometimes impossible with UV-lacering or filmcoated materials. Preceding glue tests prevent eventual problems, of course after consulting together.
