Advantages of the BRC-IoP certificate
The BRC(British Retail Consortium) has introduced a norm for the producers of packaging material for foods, the BRC IoP, British Retail Consortium –Industry of Packaging.
The BRC-IoP norm specifies the requirements concerning: organisation, dangers and riskcontrolsystem and technical managementsystem. There are also requirements regarding the norms for the production environment, the control of the pollution and personal.
BRC-IoP pays much attention to the conditions of producing hygienically. There are norms for the factory site, the flow of goods, the infrastructure, the maintenance of the plant, the procedure of maintenance and the removal of waste.
